How our overhead door service works
1
Call or request a free estimate
Tell us the door type and what it’s doing – won’t open, off track, loud, or won’t lock. We schedule a visit, often same-day in Charleston & Summerville.
2
On-site diagnosis
We inspect springs, cables, tracks, opener, and locking hardware, then hand you a clear written quote – no guesswork.
3
Repair or install
With your approval, we complete the work using correctly rated parts and torque every fastener to spec.
4
Test & walk-through
We cycle the door, check balance and safety reversal, confirm the lock engages, and show you what we did.
Pro tip: never DIY a broken torsion spring
Overhead door torsion springs store enough tension to break bones. If your door slams shut, won’t lift, or you see a gap in a coiled spring, stop using it and unplug the opener. Before we arrive, clear the area under and around the door, note whether it’s manual or motorized, and don’t force it open – forcing an unbalanced door bends tracks and strips opener gears, turning a small fix into a full rebuild.

Yes. We handle residential garage doors, commercial sectional overhead doors, roll-up gates, storefront doors, and loading dock doors – including locking and access hardware.
Absolutely. As Mul-T-Lock and Lockly certified locksmiths we repair, rekey, and upgrade overhead door locks, slide bolts, and access control so the door secures properly every time.
We strongly advise against it. Torsion springs are under extreme tension and cause serious injuries. A licensed, insured tech has the winding tools and correctly rated parts to do it safely and balance the door.
